Bionic Buzz® got to cover NAMM Show 2020. There we got to interview CallBox which is an eclectic 3-piece band, Victoria Boyington (Vocals, acoustic guitar) Jimbo Warrguitarist (14-string warrguitar), Dylan Soto (Drums, backing vocals). They specialize in all kinds of music from Jazz to Punk to Blues and Rock. Modesto Area Music Award Winning Pop/Rock Band plays an eclectic mix of original and cover music with their 14 string warrguitar, it sounds bigger than three people. Bio
CallBox began as an original band 10 years ago in Modesto, California. The band has been through a few members but the married musician duo Victoria and Warrguitarist and Bassist, Jimbo have continued to make music. In 2015, drummer Dylan Soto joined the band, making the perfect 3rd piece to the puzzle. CallBox continues to play 4 hour shows with a mix of covers and originals from the 70’s to current. CallBox was nominated and won Modesto Area Music Award in 2017 for Best Pop/Rock Band. Currently, CallBox just released their first EP titled “Tongue Tied” containing four of their best songs including pop/punk blues, indie and rock. Recently they played a sold out show at the legendary Whisky A-Go-Go in Hollywood, California.
