"It is, as I remember it..."
Upon hitting the last major 7th chord of Cameron's small album release show, everyone asked the same question; though cognitively and not audibly. Something along the lines of "sooo... are they a band?"
Some say they are psych pop. Others say indie with a splash of groove. But there is one thing we can say with confidence: they do play music. A variety of frequencies and rhythmic percussive patterns to produce a texture that can only be described as: Audible.
With dynamics ranging on a scale from bare bones jones to 12, Van Stock delivers movements that'll move you. Emotionally, and physically. (and by physically, we mean away from the stage a little bit because Nick likes to play with 2 amps. Kyle's single amp alone could give you tinnitus. Matt's just loud). Yet still have the noise floor to play in a residential area at 10pm on a Tuesday.
After spending 14 hours deciding whether to have a space between the word "Van" and "Stock", the band was facebook official.
