Bio
Tucker Hemphill is a musician based in the Washington, D.C Area. He has been playing guitar and recording music starting at the age of 13.
Starting at a very young age, Tucker was listening to very influential artists such as: B.B. King, Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy, John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, James Taylor, Jackson C. Frank, Bruce Springsteen and many more.
His mixture of guitar, singing, and songwriting skills have created a solid platform for him as a musician.
While Tucker's influences are mostly blues, he writes songs in a Pop style with Blues influences which mixes the soul of the Blues and the memorable Melody of Pop.
Tucker has done numerous performances around the D.C area and loves to play his own songs as well as song covers. Tucker's main instrument is the guitar (both acoustic and electric) and he sings as well.
Currently, Tucker is the lead guitarist for "Bears Cave", a band out of the DC area (www.bearscaveband.com). He also plays originals as well as heart-felt covers at local open mics and is working on writing his first solo record.
