They are now accepting EPKs via Sonicbids for various performance slots on this legendary stage./n/nThe Bluebird presents two shows a night, seven nights a week, featuring acoustic music including country, folk, bluegrass, alt country, Americana, rock, pop and Contemporary Christian, primarily in an "In The Round" setting. Late shows Tuesday-Saturday at the venue feature hit songwriters performing recognizable material that has been recorded either by the performer or covered and released by another artist. Early shows at the venue feature up-and-coming songwriters who have passed The Bluebird’s required number of writers’ night’s performances. Sunday night’s shows include “Sunday Spotlight” performances** from 6:30-7:15PM and at 8PM the Writers Night starts featuring 8-10 writer/performers that have passed one of The Bluebird Café’s Auditions*.

Monday is Open Mic, a performance opportunity that is open to anyone without advance audition. Simply show up on Mondays at 5:30PM to put your name in the hat for one of approximately 25 slots on the show.

*Bluebird Auditions are held quarterly and information about upcoming auditions is on The Bluebird Café’s website (www.bluebirdcafe.com). Note that songwriters interested in auditioning must live within 100 miles of Nashville or be a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).

**Sunday Spotlight requirements: No more than 3 musicians on stage at once, no full drum kits. Remember that this is opportunity is for songwriters, so sets should only include original material. There is no compensation for these performances.
