The White Rhinos are a 4 piece band from DFW that hear the future through the past. Styles and genres fade in and out of popularity, but what never loses its appeal is quality songwriting, exciting performances, and unforgettable experiences that are only created when musicians and the audience are living in the moment. The thing about the White Rhinos is that they aren’t afraid of getting it wrong. They aren’t afraid to play the wrong song, the wrong scene, the wrong style. They are not going to conform to a specific set of arbitrary rules that say how music is supposed to be created or performed. 
They are going to take you on a sonic journey.
They are going to write music that makes you feel comfortable and curious simultaneously.  
And if you happen to see a live performance, they are going to show you why no amount of technology will ever be able to replace people playing music with other people for other people.

Caleb Reed is the guitarist, and without a doubt is the soul of the band. Caleb brings that late 60’s and 70’s flavor that is the foundation to The White Rhinos. His style is reminiscent of all Guitar Gods, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Robert Johnson but he is not stuck in the past. His inventive use of pedals and effects are pushing The White Rhinos into new tonal territory. He started what would become the White Rhinos back in January 2014. Months of hanging out at guitar shops all around DFW and searching high and low on forums looking for the right members paid off when he met Matthew Posey. Caleb and Matthew jammed and wrote for a year before they found Kyle Buckner. Kyle is the bassist and keyboardist. He is also the primary engineer for the band, recording, mixing, and mastering all music. He also brings a love for all things electronic. Traces of Dubstep, Trap, and Glitch Hop can be heard in The White Rhinos. His digital expertise combines with Caleb’s and Matthew’s analog warmth to create music that has the soul of rock with the technology of today. The 3 knew that The White Rhinos were still incomplete. They knew that it would be very difficult to find the right person that would be as dynamic as the music, someone that would say what they were trying to say and say it right. They knew instantly when they met Marcos Mateus. To say that Marcos was the missing piece doesn't express fully how he completed The White Rhinos. He isn’t the cherry on top, or the finishing touch. He can’t be replaced with someone else who has learned the words. Marcos’s powerful performance is what gives the music its energy. He translates the notes and chords into feelings and thoughts we all can understand. His lyrics can be poetic and intense, often in the same song. He unapologetically opens his heart and asks you to do the same. The question is, will you?
