The Nasty Habits

The Nasty Habits is a unique, transgender, (mostly) 80's cover band that plays to packed crowds throughout the Pacific Northwest.

The band got its start as a talent show act over 10 years ago at the Esprit Transgender Conference. Before long, it moved into a small bar in the host town at the behest of a friendly bar owner who wanted a night of dance music. The locals were initially shocked, the women were suspicious, the men were wary, but once the music started, the women flooded onto the dance floor, the men soon followed, the police showed up briefly to see what all the excitement was about with the seldom-seen crowd spilling onto the sidewalk, and the rest is history. The Nasty Habits command the Olympic Peninsula dance band scene and routinely play bars and the area's largest casino. The band has also played Seattle Pride events in recent years including the outdoor main stage at the Capitol Hill Pride Festival and various Pride weekend beer garden stages.
