"After giving a good listen, you can sum it up pretty positively: The music sounds clean and honest with lots of catchy riffs and melodies. To watch and hear this band develop its image and style in the coming months will be an intriguing story. Every member brings considerable strength and power to the overall sound." - Glen Brown
"The leading act: The Hammer Antics! WOW! I was blown away. Between Michelle’s tough girl voice, Jenna’s kickass drumming and Jeff and Simon’s killer guitar skills, this band has what it takes to make it to the top. I believe this could be the best thing to come out of Hamilton!" - Violet Banana

"This band is from our northern neighbor in Canada. They are based in Hamilton, Ontario, and I have a feeling they will be seeing more then Canada very soon...The second song that I am in love with is “Heartbreaker”...I give this EP 4/5 stars" - Lisa Christensen

"Singer Michelle Owen’s voice delivers that familiar sneer that basically went missing in rock’n'roll since Donita Sparks and the L7 crew called it quits."
"The Hammer Antics EP is a rock record from beginning to end and the way the industry is currently heading, these guys are bringing it back to when music was a little more raw and guitars were a little louder." - Mark Richardson

..."they are playing a style of music that precious few other bands are tackling nowadays. The courage to do their own thing makes even an older sound come across as refreshing"
"Singer Michelle Owen's delivery is a nasal snarl, which works well with the often bitter, biting lyrics"
- Peter Kearns
