Bio
The Firnats are an indie garage act hailing from Northern Virginia. The band started in summer of 2015 when longtime friends Aaron Pirnat and Sean Flanagan got together in a basement and began jamming with a drum set and a guitar. They released their debut EP “El Dorado” in spring of 2016. Since then, they have gone on to play many venues and DIY spaces along the East Coast including the Black Cat (DC), Jammin’ Java, and Rock & Roll Hotel. They released their debut album, “Fear Not”, in August 2017. The bands current lineup consists of Sean Flanagan on guitar and vocals, Griffin Low on bass and vocals, Seth Itkin on guitar, and Kurtis Kunkel on drums. The band’s sound has been compared to the likes of Weezer, King Krule, and George Lopez.
