Sun TantricK is an ecclectic group spanning numerous genres including Blues, Rock, Funk, Jazz and Surf tied together with progressive transitions and infectious hooks.  Live performances are commanding and improvisational, while remaining rooted in the songwriting of the group.  Lead guitarist and vocalist Jesse Guten provides the seed for much of the material and delivers it with strength that connects to any audience or venue.  Dan Gaudynski on upright and electric bass creates a jazz foundation that ties effortlessly with the nuanced yet driving rhythms of Mike Ekvall's work on the drum kit.  Andrew Stoiber throws in his intricate tenor sax riffs that build the momentum with special attention to rhythmic play before flying off into an experimental space providing compliment and counterpoint to the traditional guitar rock format.  SunTantricK is a treat not to be missed! catch them in Milwaukee or buy their first EP, 'Bison'.
