Sunbird

Since it's formation in 2013, Sunbird has recorded 2 studio albums, while showcasing it's breezy, psychedelic, folk-tinged rock sound around Boston, and throughout New England. With uplifting, existential lyrics above funk infused grooves and dual guitar harmonies, Sunbird's sound stretches from mellow folk to progressive neo-psychedelic rock, giving the band, "their own unique and identifiable thumbprint that gives them an edge, and they aren't just a sound-alike band", according to music blogger, Pete Amara from MusicBoxPete. 

The roots of Sunbird stretch years back when singer Everett McKee joined guitarist Matt Cuddy to write original songs, and perform modest gigs as an acoustic duo. They soon expanded their sound and audience, with various band incarnations and lineups, but it was not until the addition of guitarist Bryan Russell, bassist David Goodchild, and drummer Ari "Rel" Rejman that the group solidified its sound and took on a new name. Sunbird had risen and now continue to seek out new fans and venues who appreciate their original, unique take on rock music.
