Hawaii based super producer Sub-Lo has captured listeners around the world. Discovering a passion for music during his college years, Sub-Lo dropped out of Kinesiology to puruse a degree in audio engineering and music business. With a new-found love for music, Sub-Lo's smooth melodies and groovy drums have provided artists with their next big hits.
As an artist, Sub-Lo blends styles from Korean R&B, Trap, Boom Bap, and New School R&B to create his unique sound. Currently, he has worked with a handful of local artists like Israel, 4K, Astreaux Guillotine, and Dr. Timmons. Sub-Lo's biggest success came with his first release in December of 2018. His song My Lil' Baby (feat. thesavagevirgo) garnered over 100,000 streams on Spotify to date. He was also featured on Kavet Omo's epicenterhiphop.com, a website dedicated to exposing Hawaii's Hip Hop scene.
On 02/28/2020, Sub-Lo will be releasing his new single You and Me (feat. Kody). Its R&B/Pop vibe is complimented with lush chords, groovy drums, and Kody's smooth vocals. The concept of the track is love at first sight. Kody's lyrics depict the wonderful things he could give this person of interest if they decide to be with him. It's a song that will definitely cater towards a younger audience.
