"PHILLY ROCK BAND, STEALING SOCIETY, SHARES NEW SINGLE “EVANESCENT LOVE”"

The title of the single, “Evanescent Love,” describes a quickly fading love. The song is about experiencing a
relationship feeling one-sided, a feeling that many of us have experienced. “This one is for anyone who felt used by a
former romantic partner,” described Joey Sita, lead singer. He continued, “It sucks when your physical and emotional
attractions to someone are intertwined, and they’re feeding off of that for their own selfish reasons.”
“Evanescent Love” captures these emotions in its fiery lyrics and pumping drum beat. It features passionate
performances from all members of the band. The song culminates in an explosive guitar solo that feels like you are
finally letting go of your frustrations. For Colin Vaughan, the solo is the highlight of the song.
“One of my favorite aspects of the recording process of this song was how the solo came together,” explained Colin.
“It was a lot of hard work and a good amount of takes but once we heard the culmination of all the best parts it really
paid off.”
“Evanescent Love” is the first single off of Stealing Society’s debut EP, which will be released later this year. “It’s the
real sort of introduction to the album as the first full song and also our first single.” The EP, titled “All By Chance”, will
also be released in October and includes four new songs in addition to “Evanescent Love”. - Little Brother Audio

PHILLY’S ORIGINAL HARD ROCK AND ALTERNATIVE BAND

LOCAL PHILLY ROCK BAND TAKING THE SCENE BY STORM. CHECK OUT OUR EP, “ALL BY CHANCE…”, AND THE MUSIC VIDEO FOR OUR SINGLE, “EVANESCENT LOVE”.

Stealing Society, the Philadelphia-based band, began back in 2016 and in 2021, they released their debut EP, "All by Chance".

The group filmed a music video for the single, “Evanescent Love”, at Castle Roxx in Manayunk, PA and released it in spring of 2022. It amassed over 20,000 views in the first weekend of release.

They played a handful of shows in the months following the EP release, and in December 2022, band members Joey Sita and Colin Vaughn rebuilt the group, which is now backed by drummer, Alex Buyser, and guitarist, Jake Biondi, with additional lead and backing vocals provided by David Melendez.

This new All-Star lineup has played dozens of shows since they reformed in May of 2023, ranging from full original sets to 4 hour cover shows to stripped down acoustic gigs. With brand new originals awaiting release and an ever-growing list of crowd-favorite covers from the 90's/2000's rock/emo alternative era, Stealing Society packs the energy for what every venue needs.
