"Bassman" Sam tours both nationally and internationally as his audiences pull on his demand as an outstanding bass guitarist and jazz artist. He has performed in many live concerts, studio sessions, artist showcases and musical stage plays including: “Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places”, “What Every Woman Wants”, and “Just Be A Man About It." Samuel’s Movie credits include a debut in The Movie “NAILED” along with Academy Award Winners - Jessica Biel, Tracy Morgan – Martin, BET, Jake Gyllenhaal of Broke Back Mountain, James Marsden of Xmen, Malinda Williams of Soul Food and many more. "Bassman" Sam has worked with other various artists including headliners Ashford & Simpson, Jennifer Holiday, Regina Bell, Angela Winbush, Christopher Williams, Tony Terry, The Soul Generals, Morris Day, Levert, The Temptations and Tameka Scott, formerly of the group “Escape”. He has also performed with many jazz artists, bands and instrumentalists to include: “Straight Ahead”, Angelica Christie, Harold Rayford, and John Valentino, formerly of The Whispers and has opened for artists such as Phil Perry, Angie Stone, Al Jarreau, Byron Cage ,and Dorothy Norwood. He has also shared the stage with artists Antone, Kosha, and Curtis Blake of Tyler Perry’s “Diary of a Mad Black Woman."
