Salaam Nation is an American music group originating from Compton and South Central Los Angeles. The group consists of four primary members: Yung D'Rok, O-God, Don Hu$o and Y/O; as well as many others. Salaam Nation is known for their extremely energetic stage performances and the socially driven subject matter in their music which encompasses matters of; Spirituality, Religion, Race Relations, History, Love, War, Oppression, Gang Violence, Poverty, Metaphysics, Black self-Dependence etc. Salaam Nation has drawn comparisons to Public Enemy, N.W.A. and A Tribe Called Quest.
