"Top Saint Louis Artist to Watch For in 2013"

Saint Orleans - I am proud to say that I've watched this guy grow immensely over the last couple of years. His single "We Don't Luv Em" has morphed into a classic STL hip-hop club jam. On any given night of the week you can go out to a packed club anywhere in the city and witness an over-crowded dance floor grooving to this record. His stage show is extremely impressive and he's lyrically capable of going toe to toe with the best of them. As I said before, the best and most capable artists are typically hybrids of multiple styles. This means they can zone in and out of any lane without hesitation. Nas is a hybrid. Tupac and Lil Wayne are hybrids -- Saint Orleans is also a hybrid. In the the renaissance era of Saint Louis hip hop Saint O. will play a very important and critical role. St. Louis artists are known for bringing quality club jams to the table, but when an artist also brings lyricism and substance, things can suddenly blow up quickly - Riverfront Times

"Thirteen Best Saint Louis Artist"

To be successful in St. Louis hip-hop you need a club anthem. To change the world you need a versatile catalog and the ability to entertain any type of crowd you're placed in front of. To create a buzz and make yourself one of the most sought-after rappers in the city, you need a self-reliant work ethic. Saint Orleans has all of the above. As the newest member of the Force crew, he has merged powers with one of the most recognized collectives in the St. Louis area to broaden his profile. His hit single "We Don't Luvem" is a St. Louis classic and will be played in this city by clubgoers and DJs forever. The difference is Saint Orleans is not a club rapper. He hails from New Orleans and moved here many years ago to flee the violence of the Big Easy. His rap name, Saint Orleans, pays homage to both cities. He has organized and released a very successful clothing line with his self-made crew Aviator Gang, which has also helped his partner M-Eazy release a few noteworthy singles and a solo mixtape. His latest project, Top Shelf, gives us more than a few reasons to be on high alert when it comes to watching his growth. Without fail, Saint Orleans will out-rap you, get more radio spins than you and easily out-work you. He often foot-soldiers his own mixtapes and can be caught in traffic distributing his music to eager fans. His performances are energetic and magnetizing. Saint Orleans should be everyone's favorite rapper. - Riverfront Times

"On Mixtape Minute.....Saint Orleans"

Saint Orleans displays his style and range between St. Louis and New Orleans with his music. Remixing some popular songs and blending original joints, Orleans shows why he’s a force to be reckoned with. Shout out to DJ T Gutta & T Marley for helping Orleans produce a great piece of work. "F**K With Us.....Musically"

So a couple weeks back XV came to the Lou and blessed us with a performance that will be engrained in the minds of all who were in attendance……… But this post isn’t about him. This post is inspired by the homie Saint Orleans.

For a long time I have wondered what STL has lacked in our hip-hop scene that has kept us from coming full circle. And what Saint Orleans did at that show showed that hole that was missing and he has apparently filled for us in the Lou. In all the major cities that have successfully and continuously cycle hip-hop artist through the industry (Houston, LA, NYC, and ATL) have consistently had representatives from all aspects of life and appeal to all crowds. What I saw on February 2 proved to me that STL has come full circle and has a roster of artist that rivals that of any city in the country.

Here’s my breakdown of some spotlighted artist coming out the Lou:

Saint Orleans: In every city you have millions of n*ggas who want to rap. Even in STL, theres a million n*ggas standing on corners, in Schnucks parking lots, and Chinese food places selling they tapes for $5. Then you have that one person out the group, that one guy who is able to give you that hood shit and not drop the ball when it comes to the quality of music that he produces. Saint Orleans is that guy. In his mixtape, Flawless Victory, Orleans was able to provide that hood shit that n*ggas in the Lou eat up while at the same time giving you quality raps and it actually makes sense. It helps that he has a degree, so that takes care of the subject-verb agreement that some people seem to never get right. Lol! (Nerd Joke) But you can tell that Orleans puts the work in to make sure that the quality of work that he puts out is that of first class quality. The Face of the Aviator Gang has done it right and has successfully put his brand on the map in the Lou. - Made Monarchs

"Flawless Victory"

Up and coming artist Saint Orleans is holding it down for his hometown of New Orleans, the Louisiana born artists stays true to his southern roots although he is now a Saint Louisian.( his name pays homage to both cities) Sampling Mac’s (No Limit Records) “We Don’t Love Em” this is not a remake, like the original this is a definite club banger. Saint O recently released his mixtape “Flawless Victory” hosted by the infamous DJ T Gutta. I’m sure we will be hearing much more about Saint O in the near future. - Just A Muse

"Cover Art Revealed For Saint Orleans "Flawless Victory""

Saint Orleans did us a solid and dropped off the artwork to his upcoming project, Flawless Victory. The album will feature production from a slew of heavy weights like Indiana Rome, Track Hustlaz, Whiz of Track Pharmacy, Bandcamp and more. Be on the lookout for the release in June.

On some other shit, bro could drop us a couple of exclusive tracks in the meanwhile, but that’s up to him. (Hint, Hint). Hah! - Industry 314

Bio

Imagine being introduced to music in the heart of New Orleans with a Grammy nominated blues artist. This is where it all started for Saint Orleans. As the nephew of Guitar Slim Jr, Saint would travel the French Quarter sitting on his uncles shoulders listening to various musicians playing throughout the streets. "Music was always easy for me because its always was around." Even though Saint never focused on learning one particular instrument he had a deep passion for simply loving music. Relocating with his mother to the midwest for better job opportunites as a teen, Saint always attached himself with New Orleans during the early Cash Money era. Releasing a few underground mixtapes beggining in high school Saint has remained consistent for the past 6 years.

Taking lead of his team Aviator Alliance, Saint Orleans has grown to be a known figure in Saint Louis where Nelly and other artist found huge success at one time period. His diverse sound displays how much he indulged in music growing up. The combination of being a college graduate and being born into a violent late 80's, early 90's New Orleans gives Saint the ability to mesh in any crowd of people. You hear the passion in songs like "In Due Time" and "1994." His single "We Dont Luv Em" has been stamped a St. Louis classic and crowds still erupt whenever the song is played in any atomosphere in St.Louis or college markets throughout Missouri. Currently, touring the national underground circuit with his team that includes Brooklyn born rapper M-Eazy and DJ T Gutta, Saint has been building momentum for his release "Via Dolorosa." Saint's in-house producer and merch coordinator Blame Wiz has found his own success with the lauch of his line Think Smart which has been gaining popularity with many major artist. If you have witnessed a performance from Saint Orleans I'm sure you would agree that he is "Hella Good."
