2019 WLWI Nash Next winners The Ryan Waters Band was founded in Troy in 2018 by country singer/songwriter Ryan Waters. Ryan's sincere, but humourous take on modern country provides the basis for the bands sound, which is filled out both live and in the studio by drummer Jakob Holsonback, bassist Fletcher Robinson, and the twin guitar attack of Cota Cheek and Boyd Blackmon. The five Troy, Alabama natives bring their own unique influences and backgrounds ranging from heavy metal to jazz to create an honest and exciting brand of original country music, as well as playing all your favorite covers. All studio recordings are tracked and produced in Nashville, Tennessee by Sean Rogers of Hey World Productions.
