Bio
From Los Angeles California, Roots of Mine have become known for their fast paced, rock infused reggae music. Originally started by a group of friends back in 2010, the groups lineup now includes John Landry (vocals/guitar), Michael Giles (guitar/vocals), Aaron Austin (bass), Eamonn Conwell (keys), Dan Kujat (drums/percussion) and our newest member Lash BZ (Percussionist). Roots of Mine has shared the stage with other great reggae groups including Fortunate Youth, HIRIE, Through The Roots, Arise Roots, Pato Banton, Seedless, Thrive, Stranger, One Drop, The Movement, to name a few.
Roots of Mine debut self-titled EP was released in 2011, followed by a second EP, “Turn The Page” in 2013. More recently, the band has focused on recording at famed 17th Street Recording Studios with renowned Producer Lewis Richards (Dirty Heads, Slightly Stoopid) . The band has released several follow up singles and their 1st Full-length album "Another Way" is set to release August 4th, 2017, including a track with Dan Kelly from Fortunate Youth.
