Bio
There is a difference between being a rapper and being an entertainer, and Quincy A. Bradley, known to the music world as "Que P." Equipped with the energy of a 2Pac, the artistry of Mos Def, and the crowd appeal of T.I., the multi talented entertainer, Que P, is definitely unique and has that “IT” factor. Known for having captivating showmanship skills, relatable lyrics, an impeccable flow, and exceptional song writing skills, Que P is destined to become a renowned super star.
Born in Little Rock, Arkansas and raised in Dallas, Texas, Que P is the youngest of four children. “Sitting with my father, who was a radio Disc Jockey, inspired me to want to be on the radio. I always loved music! I played brass instruments in my school band. It made me respect music and what goes into it”, says Que P, who grew up listening to the sounds of his parent’s diverse musical selections. “In my household, we listened to everything from Steely Dan, Anita Baker, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield and everything Hip Hop”, he says.
Que P had a strong desire to make it in the music business. In his late teens and early twenties, he began hanging around radio stations and recording studios in hopes to network with the right people, make a name for him self and to be discovered. He began performing on the Texas open-mic and underground music circuit and soon began to generate quite the buzz. His hard work finally began to pay off when he was approached by Michkel “Kel” Cain, who at the time was President of Rich Mind Records. He brought Que P to Turo Sanchez, the CEO of Rich Mind Records and the rest is history. “Que P is extremely talented and definitely the kind of talent we want to represent our label”, says Turo, the confident Rich Mind Records CEO.
Que P’s first single release, “My Body” (2010), featuring Young Black, achieved spins on top Dallas radio stations and became a favorite amongst music fans and club DJs. Also in 2010, Rich Mind Records dropped two Que P mix-tapes, “Feed the Streets” and “J-Cole Verses Que P”, both received national publicity. Que P has been featured in several local and national magazines and online music websites. In 2011, Que P released his first debut album, “S.G.S.S (Southern Gravy Smothered Sh*t), which embodied a southern sound and gave the world a body of work that made a mark to the Que P sound. After "S.G.S.S" Que P reinvented himself mentally, physically, musically & went on a hiatus to come back in 2014 with the biggest movement that has hit Dallas since it early boogie era, "NEW DALLAS" Que P headed the term & put all influential voices behind it which created a stream line of artist that will have to be reckoned with. In January 2015 he released his long awaited second album "Money, Power, Loyalty." The album has put Que P at the top of Dallas charts and has grown his fan base beyond his career heights. With a track list of grounded street & calculated songs each have driven his career further than ever before this year. Now, Que P is pushing his career further and is determined to grasp listening ears. With new marketing & re-branding Que P is giving what others are scared to say... Tune into #TheQuePExperience
