Born Quinten Demon Jones in New Iberia, LA to a small town college student -mother and a father whom served the United States Army, Quinten learned to entertain himself while in the care of two loving grandparents. Being placed in the middle of the sugarcane fields of Franklin, LA in a home where Blues music was a normal sound he quickly adapted the culture. At an early age Quinten was singing along to Blues songs.

After the sudden death of Quinten's grandmother at the tender age of 7 he was moved to Kansas City, KS. Kansas City is also known for it's Blues and Jazz District. It wasn't until 8th grade that the Q Jones we know today somehow became a reality.

While walking through the halls of Sumner Academy School of The Arts and Sciences, Quinten heard about a Talent Show for the school. Before this moment no one knew he could sing. He recruited two members and quickly scheduled practices to perfect their rendition of Jodeci's "Cry for You". It came as no surprise they won! From that day forward Quinten was known as Q Jones.

In 2001, after a few events of life changing situations, Q Jones started to focus on his music career. Fast forward to present day and you have a seasoned R&B Artist with street cred, a soulful sound and experienced, whom pens his own lyrics.

With the following of the streets, the attire of a model and an early 90's sound and vibe. Q Jones is sure to make his mark in R&B music.
