Bio
Playa Status comes from the grimy streets of Davenport,Iowa. Thank God he doesn’t look like what he’s been through. During his 13 year prison stint he began writing lyrics to release his thoughts. Getting those thoughts out of his head and dealing with bottled up emotions was therapeutic to him. Looking to stay off of the corners that landed him in prison he decided to pursue music. Everyone has a story to tell and his is full of pain and triumphs.
