Chef first began creating music by freestyle rapping amongst friends at the age of 16. What began as a hobby has since motivated him to pursue a career in the music industry. While most rappers cast a negative light on the genre, Chef aims to promote a positive message through his lyrics and songs. And while music is his passion, Chef’s ultimate goal is to change and better the world; Hip Hop is the first step in making his dream a reality.

July 11th, 2015: Chef releases his debut project, "A La Carte." This is a compilation of the first twenty-three years of Chef's life. Chef had just met his producer, ilLHeney, during the recording of this project and they hit it off instantly. Be looking for a new style and sound coming from Chef and ilLHeney on the next project, Mise En Place.

Bio
Music is a passion; it’s not something that just happens. I grew up
following my step-father around from church to church every weekend
watching him put on a show. I witnessed the control that my father had over the crowd and from that moment on, I knew what I had to do. I started taking music serious around 2008,
filling up notebook after notebook. There was plenty of room for
improvement and that is what has kept me motivated. Coming from a small
town recently wiped out by the deportation of jobs, I found myself
seeking a deeper purpose in life. Instead of idolizing the rappers and
all the glamour they possess, I focused my energy on being the positive
influence in the hip-hop industry rather than being another radio wash
out. I am breaking every part of the business back down to the basics.
My performances on stage will be just that, a performance. From the live
instruments on every set to the real life lyrics in every breath, no
one will control a crowd like I do. Our time has purpose and you can
choose your direction.
