Feeling a bit camera shy

Folk style story songs nailed down with a punchy rhythm section that bring to mind John Prine of Chris Smither. Lyrics lean on a world-weary point of view. Even in situations where things didn't work out quite as planned, one gets the sense that in the end it was worth it.
Instrumentation is centered on guitar and various flavors of twang, with straight ahead vocals that put you square in the center of the conversation.
