Paul Tull’s songs are like his personality—friendly, direct and fun-loving. A session listening to his recent CD, “Cliché Life,” is a musical romp through sandy beaches, tropical cocktails and warm relationships, laced with solid musical chops and a convincingly sincere singing delivery. While Paul may be modest and low-key in person, his songs boldly feature carefree echoes of Jimmy Buffet and feature phrasing with the resonance of a writer who captures an abiding affection for the subjects of his observations. And besides, he’s a really nice guy!
