Post-Hardcore from Plattsburgh, NY.
Oblivia was formed in 2024 by bassist Alex Rudnick and drummer Luke Gerhardt, amidst the disbanding of the punk band Burn Your Idols.
Initially looking for a standard rock lineup, the pair decided to forego a guitarist and shift that role onto the bassist, utilizing octave and distortion pedals to create a melodic wall of sound.
They released their debut single, After Hours, in January 2025 to help aid the process of finding a singer.
