Orange, California’s North Morlan lay claim to an invigorating, rich indie alt-rock sound with touches of pop, funk, and groove. The band was formed in their University’s dorm by lead singer/guitarist Jason Taylor MacMillan, drummer Ethan Ganouna, bassist Naveed Farhadi, and lead guitarist Jack Kimber. After forming in Spring 2018, the four began playing live from backyard shows to the Constellation Room, opening for the Mowgli’s in November 2018. These incredible experiences drove North Morlan to the studio, where they released their debut project The Yoyatsu Demo.
