My name is Matt Montalvo but im also known as Matt M, I was born and raised in a small city called San Benito, Texas. I have always had a passion for music but did not actually pursue until my senior year in highschool when I dropped my first mixtape called "Ready For The Fame."
After i dropped this mixtape my fan base started to build in my hometown, time flew and my passion for music grew even more. I later met a producer though some friends named Fabian Rodriguez aka "Kris Kashe." Since then he has been the one to guided me to become a better artist and producer. I later dropped another mixtape that was produced by Fabian Rodz called "Just Take It, Its Free" and this was the mixtape that gave me that push that I needed along with a bigger fan base. After a year of doing local venues and promotion i continued writing and finished my third project which was called "No Stress." This mixtape was where i was really able to find myself as artist. This was the most popular of the 3 mixtapes.The latest mixtape I dropped was called "Growth" and this mixtape was meant to symbolize the growth in my muisc. It consisted of a few songs off of my recent Mixtapes...Ready For The Fame, Just Take It Its Free, & No Stress along with 4 new tracks that are looking to be on my future mixtape "Soulful". I left everyone I loved and everything I knew to show the world and my people that anything is possible and we need to give ourselves a chance at the life of our choosing.
