Meet East Atlanta's own Pop and R&B group MAKO Girls!
MAKO Girls have been setting trends and creating their own opportunities since
2013. They are three sisters that took their love for singing and dancing to a
professional level. Originally inspired by TLC and Mindless Behavior, the MAKO
Girls wanted to do more than just sing and dance, they want to entertain the
masses. The MAKO Girls have performed at over 300 shows throughout the span
of their career. With live performances throughout the United States in various
venues for festivals, concerts, and community events. Some of the most
memorable events were: The 11th Annual ATL Hip Hop Day, The Taste of Soul Music Festival,
Celebration of Music (aired on PBS), Sweet Auburn Music Festival, and their
very own events such the Annual Carnival Glow Party, and MAKO Takeover
Concert. These ladies have also performed live overseas in Bahamas, London,
and Jamaica. MAKO Girls unique style allowed them the opportunity be an opening act for Mindless Behavior, Dondria, Chubb Rock,
RSVP, Next, 2 Chainz, Ashanti, and Ja Rule as they continued to gain momentum
industry wide.
This dynamic trio has been featured on top tier media such as Sheen Magazine,
Hype Magazine, 21Ninety, featured as one of the Top 8 Black Girl Groups on
BET.com, CeeSoDope.com, Black Link Magazine, and mentioned in Hip Hop
Weekly. MAKO Girls also grace the cover of Exclusive Modelz Magazine and are
the faces for Nike /JDSports Spring Collection 2023.
With over 1.5 million followers on TikTok, MAKO Girls worked with MAJOR
brands such as Beats by Dre, ColourPop Cosmetics X Disney, IMVU, Dollskill,
Mielle Organics, and IHOP. Their desire to make a difference in the music industry
has been the driving factor within their career. This Award-Winning girl group is
definitely one to keep your eye on.
Currently, MAKO Girls are promoting their hit song, “Ain’t Thinkin’ Bout You”
from their new EP “Lvls To This” and their newest single "Snakes”.
