Formed in 2006, Love Me Last is an acoustic act consisting of brothers John Paul and George Michael Ortiz. George’s passion for drawing art, songwriting, and poetry fused with John Paul’s love for singing and guitar playing truly makes for a distinct combination. Inspirations such as HIM, Elliott Smith, Jeff Buckley, City and Colour, Hank Williams, David Ruffin, Eddie Kendricks, The Temptations and countless others are all thrown into one big oven and out comes the musical cake of Love Me Last. That or a big lovely mess. Though I believe you will enjoy it as much as we do making it.
