BOSTON, MA (April 11, 2014) — Akin PR and Management, KMG LLC. , Ekena Cox Management, Wired House, Event Management, and sponsored by Cutz n Scratchez Barbershop have teamed up to present an international collective sound of recording artist of Mad Bwoy’s 2014 EP project, “Pushing The Envelope ” in world music. After dropping the long awaited single ‘Summer Gone’ featuring Boston’s Jamn 94.5 DJ 4EIGN in the winter of 2013.
Intl. Dancehall artist Mad Bwoy of Kush Muzic Group is releasing his upcoming EP project ‘Pushing the Envelope’ for his supporting fans. Mad Bwoy has taken his music production to the next level with a respected group of recording artist within New England. His well renown production team Kush Music Group links up with Anashe Media Group star producer Brian Soko who is known for his collaborations on Lil Wayne’s ‘No Worries’, Birdman featuring Kendrick Lamar ‘100 Favors’, Tyga featuring Future ‘Show You’ and created the “Summer Gone” beat. Other top producers on ‘Pushing The Envelope’ are Brendan Brady who produced ‘Relationship Wise’ & ‘Sorry’, Willy Wyziel who produced ‘Drop It’, Gacek Killah who produced ‘Brighter Day’, Star Select and DJ Millz who produced ‘Sex Specialist’, and introducing the hottest single, ‘International Love’ featured by Dayne Don and Young Boo.
As the debut single ‘Summer Gone’ was filmed several months ago in the Boston area by director Arnold Soko of Anashe Media Group and SEV One Media. This creative art form made heavy waves throughout the international dancehall music scene around the world.
2014 has begun to be a breaking point for Mad Bwoy as he travels for booked shows in New England area; Vermont, New York City; Hilo, Hawaii and with the expectations of new partnerships into the European and African markets in 2014 and beyond.
Mad Bwoy’s upcoming show “Reggae Raaave”, takes place Saturday, June 28th, 2014, at the swanky Brighton Music Hall of Boston. His latest EP project “Pushing The Envelope” backing by Unique Sound-Boston based.
Other headliners include Songstress, Queen Mariletta of Endangered Speeches who originated from Greece as a Berklee student building her craft in Boston. Another amazing vocalist by the name of Irose Shinez based in Boston, Massachusetts sets melodic sounds of chanting harmonies. True’ly Young is a Latino artist based in Haverhill, Ma who mixes his flavor of reggae and ton in music.
Brighton Music Hall is located at 158 Brighton Avenue in Boston, Ma. This event is ages 18 and over with valid ID. Doors open at 8pm. Ticket prices are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

Fedrick "Mad Bwoy" Manderson was born and raised in St. Mary Jamaica. He grew up listening to the sounds of Reggae, Hip-Hop and R&B music by legendary artists like Bob Marley, Beres Hammand, Michael Jackson, Bounty Killer and R. Kelly. As he got older he began to listen to everything from the Bee Gee's to Biggie Smalls and Tupac, which continue to inspire him.
As a child Mad Bwoy spent a great deal of time in the studio with his brother, music producer and artist, Cush Hunta. Under his brother’s guidance Mad-Bwoy began recording demos and developed his unique sound.
Mad Bwoy released his first mix tape in the summer of 2007 entitled KING OF 603 which was hosted by the renowned DJ 4iegn of Renegade Sound Station. KING OF 603 has sold over 10,000 copies. Mad Bwoy has been featured on many radio stations including Jamn 94.5 and 88.9 WERS as well as the Jamaican Star in 2008. Mad Bwoy has thrived off of his last album Mr She Like It, which was released in November of 2009. He has also been featured on mix tapes worldwide including Futurist Drop with DJ Weedim from Straightup Sound. He has also been a part of Jammin High with DJ Bus High, also from Straightup Sound, as well as Pon Di Corner with DJ Alexbadman and DJ Sesilover from Irie Soldiers Sound.
Mad Bwoy is currently working on his new album Best Kept Secret. The album will be released this November. Mad Bwoy along with Canadian group Musicnotes have shot a video for She’s a Bullet which will debut in September.
He is also planning to kick off a college tour beginning in early 2011. Mad Bwoy continues to perform at venues around New England, Baltimore and New York. He continues to headline at popular venues across the country and performs with artists like Beenie Man, Shaggy, Lady Saw, Serani, Gyptian and many others .
