"King Cashmere - "2am" [Music Video]"

King Cashmere is a psychedelic soul band from Houston, Texas that was born of chance. What started as a simple collaboration between western-rockers The High Plains Drifters and soul-hop artist AmaruTMN quickly morphed into something powerful: a new sound, unrelenting vision, and a summer tour.

In the six weeks since forming, King Cashmere released its debut album "The King's Preach" and will be touring the US with the Freak Show Tour in support of their release.

Above you can check out their debut video "2am" which was filmed in New York and Houston on a cracked iPhone screen. The video follows our young protagonists as they search for love and life in all the wrong places. - White Men Can't Blog

There’s an old saying: you never know how the dominoes will fall. And thus King Cashmere was born when Zach G and Cole G from the High Plains Drifters decided to join forces with Amaru the Musical Nomad after playing together at several Freak Show events in Houston. It’s true that both artists had already established their own distinctive sounds. The High Plains Drifters had built a cult following with their vintage take on cowboy rock and AmaruTMN held crowds captivated with an energetic set best described as soul-hop.

In the six weeks that followed the initial conversation, the group released their debut album "King Cashmere and the Higher Empire." Two days later, King Cashmere packed its gear and hit the road in support of their release. After playing
