A singer-songwriter, musician, and emerging artist with a passion for music and dance.
Kaygen, was born in Annapolis and raised in multiple cities throughout Maryland, at a young age learned to play the drums and was inspired to delve into his raw vocal abilities and above average musical talents. Producing a sound of soul touching music and a distinctive writing style that can be aligned in multiple genres. Kaygen’s has a sound that can be relished by many.Kaygen's creative process is fueled by two personal quotes, “I Bleed Music” & ”Real is all I am and all I can be.”
With musical influences from and a fan of such diverse artists Kaygen keeps the following in his current playlist and in mind when creating his own tunes: Donny Hathaway, Otis Redding, Michael Jackson, Music Soul Child, Tank, Drake, Tyrese, Usher and Ty Dolla $ign naming a few.
When Kaygen isn’t recording for his own project, you can rest assured that he is in the studio writing and creating a music catalog for some current artist, producing a sound that will bring back meaning to the airwaves in an effort to help revive the soundscape of R&B music.
