"Although Kat C.H.R was weaned on reggae and dancehall music, alternative rock is what gets her blood pumping." - Jamaica Observer
"Edgy, out and proud Jamaican Kat (C.H.R) is ready to shake up the indie world with her soulful lyrics and a positive vibe that we just can’t resist." - Curve Magazine
"Jamaican musicians are mostly lumped under either the reggae or dancehall umbrella. This isn't done without reason however as most local musicians do subscribe to one or both labels and so find themselves boxed in with the rest of the industry masses. Musicians like Kat C.H.R. show that local talent is far more diverse than the masses portray." - Jamaicansmusic.com
"Kat C.H.R., is becoming a staple of this new music scene in Kingston, Jamaica. Her vocal embellishments have their own distinct sound as she combines it with her melodic guitar, for what will make finding Kat’s songs add extra credit to your music resume. " - Kingston 2 L.A.
"Aaaaah, we knew Jamaica had great things in store for us. Don't get it twisted, love reggae and dancehall, but there's a vibrant alt scene in Kingston that goes far beyond that, with artists expressing themselves in genres ranging from rock to electro, and everything in between.
At the heart of the movement, Katherine Williams - a.k.a. Crimson Heart Replica, is one of the movers and shakers." - Afro Punk

Bio
Kat C.H.R has paved her way as an unconventional Jamaican artist. Not only is she an activist through her uncompromising and unwavering confident self-identity, but, on stage, she is truly a force. Her transfixing voice coupled with her poetic lyrics and demanding, energetic stage presence is a formidable package.
Kat has shared her talents all over the world: from Thailand to Costa Rica, and across 10 U.S. cities. In 2011, Kat forged a partnership with the New York based Damon Dash Media Collective, DD172 that resulted in the release of her first EP, ‘Love Cake’ and embarked on a US promotional tour. She later signed a distribution deal with Diana King’s Florida-based indie label, ThinkLikeAgirL Music under which her EP, GOLD was released. Kat has also spent time collaborating on a number of projects with artists such as Skibeatz, Jovi Rockwell, Sean O Connell, GLC, McKenzie Eddy, and Diana King.
In addition to her musical projects, Kat is also an independent event promoter responsible for the growth of the alternative music scene in Jamaica through events such as Altered Fridays and Artopia. She is also a philanthropist having organized a major fundraiser – Hu$tlin’ for Haiti – to raise funds to assist with Jamaica Red Cross aid in Haiti.
Kat’s newly released EP is Psychotropical, a title giving love to the very genre it unfurls. Psychotropical was officially released on May 30th and is Kat’s first record on the Space Tapes label. It is available for download in digital format across all major platforms.
