Doug Burton mixes the one man folk punk aesthetic of Billy Bragg with esoteric lyrics reminiscent of Robert Pollard to craft his brand of catchy melodic pop. Formerly the guitarist of 20 year Virginia/North Carolina rock mainstays Gunston Midas, Burton released his first solo disc, "Hotel Reverb" in 2015 under the Junction Medias moniker. Specializing in 2-3 minute pop gems, Burton's songs have been called, "the best GBV inspired pop since...GBV."
