Formed in June of 2012, Jive Jump & Wail is a high energy 9 piece group playing the best of House Rockin' music. We play a unique blend of swing, retro-swing, New Orleans Mardi Gras sounds, classic r & b, roots r & r, funk, & more including jazz, hot jazz, Dixieland, & big band sounds, if needed. We feature the dynamic Demetria Joyce Bailey on vocals & the red hot Molten Brass horns. Our musicians have played with Grover Washington Jr., Harry Connick Sr., The Temptations, Tony Bennett, Diane Schuur, The 4 Tops, George Benson, Gene Krupa, Sister Sledge, The Spinners, the Glen Miller Orchestra, Arturo Sandoval, Bobby Rydell, Branford Marsalis, Mel Torme, Danny & the Juniors, Todd Glass, & many more. The band has played the WaWa Welcome America 4th of July Celebration in Philadelphia, Sands Casino, Parx Casino, First Energy Stadium, for the PRSSA National Convention, the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand Series, & many more. The band put's on quite a show & doesn't disappoint. The band's first CD, Let the Good Times Roll is now available at CD Baby & other venues.
