Jeff Oakes is a complete student of music. Being a Singer, Songwriter, and Producer, he’s followed and has been influenced by Stevie Wonder, Donnie Hathaway, Prince, John Mayer, Dave Mathews, and countless others. Even though a lot of his influences are from the past, he is well connected to the present time.
However, he is connected without compromise. It’s been said that his sound is everything that you love about the past and everything that you love about the present combined.
Jeff Oakes & The SoulTown Orchestra is a group of accomplished and professional musicians with two keyboard players, bass, lead guitar, drums, and 2 vocalists. They're known for their versatility and the ability to sound like the actual recording they're performing.
