JAMESONG was born on a glorious May day in Puerto Rico. Since that day, he showed an organic talent for music. He received numerous awards to include being honored by his town’s Mayor as One of the Most Talented Children in their city and most recently as 2016 International Songwriting Competition semi-finalist (the winner is still to be announced) At nine, he started at Free Music Juan Morel Campos of Ponce, where he studied guitar and dance for nine years. At ten, veterans of The American Legion adopted JAMESONG as their poster boy; playing the national anthem in various activities and events throughout the island. When he was eleven, he belonged to a musical project called “The Little Pals ". JAMESONG performed with this group on children's programs like "Burbujita and Bun " and “Child Treasury" etc. He was honored by Catholic University with the moniker “Joselito the Second”. At 15, earned first prize at the Orlando Music fest. At 18 he was the lead vocalist/guitarist of the Orchestra of Popular Music. At 20 he had his own musical conglomerate performing widely in Puerto Rico.
Currently JAMESONG performs throughout his home island of Puerto Rico, Central and South America. As well, in the United States, opening for acts such as Farruko, Enrique Iglesias, Nicky Jam and many more. This artist brings unlimited versatility to the table by performing rhythm driven Reggaeton, soulful ballads and bass pounding urban pop. His stage presence is commanding and sex appeal radiates effortlessly from his movie star smile. JAMESONG has a phenomenal future in the music industry as evidenced by his stellar past!
