Bio
Born and raised in Southern California, Hayley Rueger is a child of the ocean. With her beach blonde hair and her acoustic tunes, she embodies the SoCal spirit.
Hayley grew up in a suburban city in the South Bay. With encouragement from her musical family, Hayley wrote poetry and entered talent shows throughout elementary and middle school. Upon receiving her first guitar at the age of 13, Hayley began putting her creative lyrics to melodies.
Fast forward to her junior year of high school, when Hayley decided to reach out to high-profile YouTubers and offer her talent. South African YouTuber Caspar Lee featured a clip of Hayley singing a song she wrote for him at the end of one of his videos. YouTube sensations Marcus Butler and NikiNSammy began to feature theme songs written by Hayley on their wildly popular channels each week. Thanks to Caspar, Marcus, NikiNSammy, and other connections made through YouTube, Hayley now has an audience of over 3.5 thousand viewers and counting.
While she loves each and every viewer of hers, Hayley stays grounded by reminding herself and her supporters that she shares her music not for the purpose of gaining subscribers/followers, but for the pure joy she receives from connecting with others through music and the true passion she has for music itself.
Hayley is currently in the finishing stages of producing her first EP while tackling her sophomore of college in Southern California.
