Formed in the summer of 2016 as a side project by then-LFNC member Josh Bartrug, Hanging Cactus has evolved a sound drawing influences from everything from ska-punk to indie folk. With the current line up also including Aramis Jones on bass and Marcos Serna on drums, the group has created a unique and original sound.
Currently Hanging Cactus plays a set that combines elements of 60s British Invasion and garage rock with the sounds of 90s pop punk groups. Hanging Cactus delivers energetic and melodic music.
