Grizz Lee AKA Derek Montgomery is an independent Pop/Hip-Hop artist and producer based out of Kansas City, Missouri. He was born in Chillicothe, Missouri and raised in the small town of Ludlow by Rebecca Lewis (mother) and James “Rocky” Lewis (stepfather). Growing up, GRIZZ LEE witnessed alcoholism, drug addiction, violence and ultimately the loss of his stepfather who had purchased him his first guitar only a year before his death. These humble and hectic beginnings ultimately fueled the phenom that is GRIZZ LEE.
