Fyahball credits his ability to flow over any track to musical influences such

as Bob Marley, George Clinton, Big Daddy Kane, Ice Cube and Jimi

Hendrix due to his parents who kept the rhythms in their home diverse.

This versatility makes him incomparable, such as the legends Capleton and

Andre 3000 - who Fyahball believes would be the closest links to his creative

energy.

Finessing stages since 1995, Fyahball has opened for artists such as

Method Man, Redman and Goodie Mob and performed at over 50

festivals/events/tours/shows. Former member of several bands from Ohio

to Jamaica, Fyahball exploded onto the solo scene as Obie Won in 2015;

The Human Fireball double disc extended CD featuring the single

Insatiable.

“Everyone should know I am a Rastaman. I love outdoors. I’m down to Earth. I still

buy my clothes from the swap meet and my white tees from the gas station. Dairy

and animal flesh is the cause of most of society’s diseases, so I don’t participate

in those things. I love traveling. Traveled regularly when my children were young

but not so much recently as their activities have taken precedent.

Music lovers should know I love to laugh. I’ve seen a ton of sadness this world

has to offer and I still rather laugh my pain away. I unapologetically make

marijuana music. I’m glad I didn’t listen to the fear mongers who tried to

persuade me away from the herb. I spiritually burn this present system of

capitalism, idolatry, materialism and pedophilia. I feel children in the hood suffer

because the parents are selfish and won’t take time out to check homework, to

talk with them and listen to what’s going on. Politricks is the biggest scam of all

time. Even if a person has righteous intentions going into public service, the

system will eventually buy them out or crush them for standing firm.

In closing I always give thanks and praise to the Creator in all things. I give

thanks to my ancestors for always surrounding me without fail.”
