Frostfang headlines this bill of local St Pete Metal. Their blend of Thrash/Stoner riffs and ripper lead breaks have Metalheads excited that this young band is bringing St Pete Metal to the forefront. - Creative Loafing Tampa Bay
This formation indulge in modern-ish power/proto-thrash which is generally peaceful, but comes "The Line" and brings more "violence" to the proceedings with its raging riffs. It livens up the situation and the guys start thrashing with more vigour although "Earth's Bane" in the middle is just a frolic epic doomster, a formula later followed by "Wolfram" and the closer "Bermuda". The vocals are appropriately inebriate with a hoarse shade although they manage to retain their nice clean blend for most of the time. - The Thrash Metal Guide

Frostfang is a Heavy Metal band out of St.Pete FL whose influences are soaked deeply with the blood of those in the pit. in other words a lot of Iron Maiden, Slayer, Metallica, Mastodon, Megadeth, The Sword, and a little touch of Baroness, Graveyard, Elder, High on Fire. Our sound has been described by some as Slayerish/Megadethish/Maidenish/Metallicay, but as far as what type of music we play we can't name for sure, our vast influences come together into a tasty melting pot of sick jams. But if you really want a label it we like the speed of Thrash, the riff of Stoner Metal, the weird of Prog Metal, and the groove of Blues. We are young and hungry to attempt to fill the shoes of the bands we love that are getting on in their years.
