Fool Me Twice

Fool Me Twice is a roots music duo comprised of classically trained, multi-instrumentalists Tim and Grace.  Between the two of them, they perform on mandolin, flute, guitar, harmonica, piano, and violin, which allows them to approach their music from a number of styles.  The band values melodic interest and lyrical honesty and draws inspiration from the likes of Pete Seeger, Ben Folds, and Nickel Creek.

Fool Me Twice comes from a yearning to have hope in people that is coupled with a willingness to be let down in that pursuit.  When faced with hurt and pain, Tim and Grace choose to respond with songs of acceptance and peace.  The world can be a very broken place, but Fool Me Twice believes that when people from different backgrounds participate in music together, they take part in something that transcends all of the hurting.  It is the greatest goal of Fool Me Twice that people come away from their shows not as mere spectators but instead as collaborators.
