Fluorescent Death consists of two musicians John Kline and Cary Singman. John handles vocals and keyboard, while Cary also handles keyboard parts, he specializes with the electric guitar especially with his use of his psychedelic layered effects. They produce all their tracks themselves. Fluorescent Death is influenced by many genres those include electronic, metal, industrial, trap/rap, experimental, witchhouse, synthwave and horror film soundtracks. Besides Fluorescent Death’s powerful music, their stage show is equally provocative and entertaining to watch. It consists of intense artistic visuals that play on a projection screen as an erotic dancer performs while wearing fluorescent body paint and a mask. John and Cary wear neon pink jumpsuits and masks to keep their real identities a secret to the fans. Overall their aesthetics is similar to a trippy, horror movie on stage. As performance artists, they give psychedelic, horror, and mysterious visuals and music to their fans.
John Kline is a film director of music videos, short films, and an award winning feature film. He is currently working on his second feature film which will entirely include Fluorescent Death music on the soundtrack. His filmmaking experience and skills is especially put to use when it comes to producing and directing Fluorescent Death's music videos, stage visuals and even creating all the costumes. His natural ability to produce music really shows in his first feature film, Once Upon A Superhero, with a lot of dark experimental tones on the soundtrack.
Cary Singman was in his first band at 18 years old, a punk band called Misguided Youth, that shared the stage with bands such as Pennywise, Sublime, NOFX, Offspring, and more. Cary went on to perform in several more bands including The Chimpz which toured and opened for Linkin Park, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Hellyeah and many more. He also has 3 tracks featured on the #1 FX Hit TV show Son’s Of Anarchy and multiple tracks on several MTV shows.
Fluorescent Death have recorded over 70 tracks, but 10 tracks that are fully produced, mixed and mastered. They have a visually cool music video ready for their first release and are currently getting ready to produce the second one.
