Snoe.down Winter Sports and Music Festival 2011

Snoe.down Winter Music & Sports Festival is the all-ages winter music festival hosted by moe. Snoe.down returns to central Vermont and Vermont’s most popular and dynamic ski and snowboard destination, Killington Resort in Killington, and Spartan Arena in neighboring Rutland, for a weekend of winter fun and music March 24-27.

One slot is reserved for a Sonicbids artist, and compensation includes a $300 guarantee, festival-style hospitality, and free lift tickets to Killington Ski Resort.

Keller Williams, Lotus, and the Brew have also been confirmed for 2011.

Snoe.down returns to central Vermont and Vermont’s most popular and dynamic ski and snowboard destination, Killington Resort in Killington, and Spartan Arena in neighboring Rutland, for a weekend of winter fun and music March 25-27.



One spot is reserved for a Sonicbids member to perform an intimate après ski set at Killington Resort’s K1 day lodge. The San Francisco, CA band Tea Leaf Green performed an aprés ski set in 2006 before a packed house of fans.  The chosen band will perform one 90-minute set on Sunday, March 28, 2011 at Killington Resort’s K1 Lodge in Killington, VT and will be compensated $300.  Complimentary festival style hospitality will be available as well as lift tickets to Killington for the band.



moe. will headline both Friday and Saturday nights at Spartan Arena. One-man-band Keller Williams will join moe. on Friday and live instrumental dance rock band Lotus joins moe. on Saturday night.



Several afternoon performances by a variety of artists including Ryan Montbleau Band and The Brew will take place throughout the weekend at Killington Resort.



In addition to multiple performances by moe., Snoe.down 2010 Artists included funk/soul group Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, jam-grass favorites Railroad Earth, native Vermont rockers Assembly of Dust, The Bridge, The Heavy Pets, Hot Day at the Zoo, Leroy Justice, Lynch, The McLovins, Moonalice, and Sonicbids selection Red Rooster.



Festival attendees will be able to take advantage of a myriad of world-class winter activities available at Killington Resort, including a very special Snoe.down learn to ski/board program. Attendees may purchase reduced price lift tickets to Killington Resort with their Snoe.down ticket and be eligible to choose from a variety of discounted Killington lodging options. The Snoe.down winter music & sports festival is sponsored in part by the Town of Killington Economic Development and Tourism Office (EDT). The EDT is working with Killington Resort to arrange for bus shuttle service to/from Killington and Spartan Arena for those choosing to lodge in Killington.
