Shake The Lake 2012

Taking place August 10-12 in Sylvan Lake, Shake The Lake is Alberta's Action Sports and Music festival! With dozens of sponsors, media coverage from Television, Radio, Print & Web, and with upwards of 10,000 spectators expected to attend, it is not a festival any band wants to miss out on.

Now in it's 5th year and coming off a historic festival in 2011, Shake The Lake is making waves in Western Canada. The 3-day outdoor festival features Live Music, Youth, Am, & Pro Skateboard and BMX competitions, a family zone, and vendor village. Shake The Lake is a family friendly festival with free admission that was attended by over 9,000 people in 2011.

Shake The Lake's main stage will feature 30 bands in the heart of the festival site, giving them maximum exposure and unencumbered access to festival goers. Six slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists. Festival-style hospitality, professional audio, stage and back-line gear are provided to all artists.

First consideration for festival slots will be given to the highest quality acts with all-ages appropriate content. Every eligible artist that submits an application will be considered for the festival. Past guests include Said The Whale, Najjah Calibur, Blessed By A Broken Heart, Kiros, Zerbin, and over 100 other artists.
