Summary

The Popkomm Festival is the top international business music festival in Europe and one of the most important showcase festivals in the world. The festival happens in the heart of one of the most edgy club and music scenes in the world – Berlin, Germany. Popkomm will present over three days of music, in more than 25 clubs throughout Berlin, featuring many of today’s international stars and talents. This year’s festival takes place September 16-18, 2009.


All Popkomm showcase slots are open to artists worldwide who make their submissions online using Sonicbids. Applications will not be accepted by post. Five of the bands that are selected for Popkomm and from 1,000 km or further from Berlin will receive a grant of 1,000 EUR (half paid upon proof of travel arrangements to Popkomm, half paid upon performance at Popkomm) and a full day ticket for the conference and exhibition.


Record labels, artists, management companies, publishers and music projects can send their material electronically ONLY until May 17, 2009. All applications will receive a response by July 21, 2009.


All genres are accepted.

Das Popkomm Festival gehört zu den weltweit wichtigsten Showcase Events und ist das Europäische Showcase Festival mit der größten internationalen Beteiligung.


Während der 3 Popkomm Nächte präsentieren sich in den 30 offiziellen Popkomm Locations ca. 350 Acts aus mehr als 30 Ländern.
In diesem Jahr findet die Popkomm vom 16. bis 18. September statt.


Bands, Musiker, Label, Verlage, Managements, Booker und Verbände können sich hier über Sonicbids elektronisch bewerben. Mit der Bewerbung und der Zahlung von 10 Dollar (ca. 7,75 Euro) ist keine Sonicbids Mitgliedschaft oder eine weitere Verpflichtung verbunden.


Alle Bewerbungen und musikalischen Anfragen werden gewissenhaft angehört und geprüft. Die Popkomm hat keine festgelegten musikalischen Styles, wir sind offen für jede gute Musik. Bis zum 21. Juli 2009 werden alle Anfragen beantwortet.
