The Opportunity
The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand Summer Concert Series takes place every year from mid-June through August. They have been providing free entertainment to Rehoboth Beach since 1963. Each year over 50 bands perform in an open-air concert venue. The average attendance of a show is is estimated between 800-1500 people and the series as whole caters to well over 50,000 people. All concerts are sponsored by the City of Rehoboth Beach or individual/business sponsors.
Past Performers Include:
Love Seed Mama Jump, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Jamie McLean Band, The Funsters, Pucho and the Latin Soul Brothers, Paul Cullen, US Army Field Band and Soldiers' Chorus, Cliff Hillis, The Diamonds
The Band
- All genres accepted
- Must be family friendly
- East coast bands encouraged to submit
The Gig
Details:
- 75-90 minute set
- Shows begin at 8 PM
- Performances take place Friday to Sunday from mid-June through August
- Outdoor performance
- Full PA and sound engineer provided
- No backline provided
- Air-conditioned dressing rooms and private backstage area provided
- Compensation is provided and negotiated at the time of booking
- Artists may sell merchandise and keep 100% of revenue
