Summary

CEG Presents is looking for bands who want to do a different kind of show! Our Special Show Sail Along the Island Booze Cruise offers fans a unique show experience and provides you a chance to celebrate a special pinnacle event in the history of your band (CD Release, Welcome Back from Tour, Band member’s Birthday etc.). Bands who have an established fan base and consistent draw in the NYC club scene are preferred. 

The Opportunity

CEG Presents is an entertainment company that does club & concert promotion, private event booking and coordination, marketing, sponsorship and promotional services to venues and musical artists of all ranges and genres.  The band will be playing on a three hour cruise that holds 100-200 people and will travel around Manhattan. This should be a great opportunity for any band that is seeking special experiences.  

This is a summer time special event that will draw a lot of attention from the event-goers in New York. 

We are live music fans first and foremost and we look forward to working with new and exciting musicians!

The Band

  • 21+ bands only 
  • The band must have a significantly established draw in New York, they should have playing history in NYC or know they can bring a sizable crowd of about 40-60 people to their shows in NYC.

  • Bands must have a solid online presence, and they must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play

  • All bands applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style.

  • Bands must come up with a special theme for the show (album release, concept show, special event) to help promote the show better

  • Bands must be actively playing shows, but need to allow for a 60 day radius between NYC shows.

  • We're looking for bands of all genres. We love Rock, Jazz, Funk, Blues and Soul acts, but we're open to all genres if it's good music

The Gig

The boat goes out for 3 hours and sails around Manhattan. This is a special and fun experience for any band looking for an opportunity to build their reputation and play with other great bands in New York.

Additional Payment Details:

  • Bands will receive a percentage of door sales 
  • Band keeps 100% of their merch sales

Compensation

  • Compensation Amount: Determined at time of booking
