Have a Nice day Cafe in Richmond, VA is one of the most active downtown scenes, with large dance floors, DJ's spinning and live bands performing. With a 1,500 capacity, Have a Nice Day Cafe accepts all genres, except jazz and funk. Painted Red Promotions books live music for the venue on Thursday and Sunday nights, and is looking for regional and touring artists that have a draw large enough to fill the room. 3 slots per month are reserved for Sonicbids artists. Artists will be compensated with a 50/50 split of ticket sales. As well, if bands do well, they may also have the option to get booked at the "Piano Club", another venue at which the promoter books for weekly events. A PA system will be provided at Have a Nice Day Cafe, but artists are responsible for their own sound guy, instruments and backline.

Painted Red Promotions, founded in 2002, is a booking agency for rock bands with the goal of helping independent bands find shows and expand their fanbase. Over the last 8 years, members of the Painted Red Promotions team have worked tirelessly with venues, bands and other promoters across Virginia to help create a fun atmosphere at events.
