Summary
WSM Road Show is selecting Sonicbids artists for a chance to play the Franklin Theatre or Opry City Stage.
The Opportunity
Beginning in March, WSM will hit the road and visit historic theatres throughout Middle Tennessee. Contestants can audition at 3 locations: March 11 at the Roxy Theatre in Clarksville, March 25 at the Palace Theatre in Crossville, and April 8 at the Palace Theatre in Gallatin. Three contestants from each show will be selected to move on to the Finals at the Capitol Theatre in Lebanon.
At the show in Lebanon three finalists will be selected to open up for Tracy Lawrence on May 7th at the Franklin Theatre in Franklin. One of the three selected finalists will win a trip to play the Opry City Stage in New York City, Times Square.
The Band
- Must be age 18+ to perform
- Must have family-friendly music, no profanity, etc.
The Gig
Details:
- A house band will be provided for all acts selected
- Contestants will be judged based on appearance, stage presence, vocal ability, & audience appeal
- Auditions will be held: March 11 at the Roxy Theatre in Clarksville, March 25 at the Palace Theatre in Crossville, and April 8 at the Palace Theatre in Gallatin
- 3 winners will open for Tracy Lawrence on May 7th at the Franklin Theatre in Franklin
- 1 grand prize winner will win a trip to play the Opry City Stage in New York City, Times Square
